The CHRONOSOME 46XY is the first labor of passion coming to the public eye from the CORNELIUS & CIE studio. The heart of the Chronosome 46XY watch is an Calibre AS 690, developed and produced by the A. Schild company in Grenchen, Switzerland, in 1935, beating at steady 18.000 b.p.h. (beats per hour)

When the strong main spring is fully wound (by hand) the movement has a power reserve of 8 days. The position of the eccentrically barrel is immediately evident by the shape of the case.

The first collection presented consists of 3 models:

- completely skeletonised movement and dial. The pierced dial with applied roman hour markers allows light to move through the movement highlighting the elegantly meticulous hand work waiting below and between. Cased in Platinum the movement is completely skeletonized and engraved entirely by hand. Coming soon will be a gold model of this striking time piece.

The watch box comes with an Orbita watch winder and an additional barrel. The barrel can be engraved with a personal text or picture.

Exposed from the rear the CHRONOSOME 46XY is revealing its precision and artistic elegance while the winding crown is making its own personal statement.

Precision set ruby jewels in polished sinks highlight the axels of each wheel and ensure the longevity of function. Meticulous by-hand beveling and polishing bring depth and expression to each individual component.

The blued steel hands are a stand out against hand engraved bridges and matt white dial.

Another twist on a theme, this version of the CHRONOSOME 46XY is cased in 18K gold and sports a dial with applied Arabic hour markers. An aperture near the center of the dial exposes a disc making one revolution approximately every 24 hours that will be hand engraved with a message of the owner's discretion.
As like the platinum version, the CHRONOSOME 46XY in 18K gold features skeletonized bridges that are individually hand engraved and finished with rhodium for strong contrast, brilliance and long life.

The latest creation of Cornelius & Cie is a 44 mm tourbillon in Damascus stell with a hand engraved dial depicting an imperial dragon. The dragon is made in solid gold, silver plated an oxidized. The double-barrel movement has a power reserve of 120 hours (5 days) and is cut out and engraved entirely by hand. This uniqie piece is an example of the possibilities we offer to our customers. In fact, every design or theme is possible to translate into your own custom made watch.
